CONTRACTORS HURT BY ABDUCTIONS IN IRAQ

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has sought to address theresignation of foreign nationals employed to transport equipment to combatunits in Iraq. Officials said the military has been increasingly concerned by thedeparture of Jordanian, Kuwaiti and Turkish contractors from Iraq. Manyof these companies left after their employees were abducted and killed byAl Qaida-inspired insurgents.
