EADS WINS ARABSAT CONTRACT

LONDON [MENL] -- The Saudi-based Arabsat communications satellite consortiumhas awarded a contract to the European Aeronautics Defence and Space Co. Under the contract, EADS Astrium will construct a satellite controlcenter to operate a range of Arabsat facilities. The company did not reportthe size of the contract.
