ISRAEL SEEKS ANOTHER STAB AT U.S. UGV PROJECT

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Israel was expected to make another attempt to winacontract for a U.S. autonomous ground vehicle project. Israel's Elbit Systems was expected to again compete in the GrandChallenge by the U.S. Defense Department. The Grand Challenge has beenacompetition by the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agencytotest autonomous ground vehicles over rugged terrain.
