Israeli Firm Tests Tactical Rocket

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- An Israeli defense firm has been a partner in a
tactical rocket project in the United States.
Israel's Elbit Systems has been conducting flight tests of the Guided
Advanced Tactical Rocket, or GATR, at White Sands Missile Range in New
Mexico. Elbit Systems has joined the U.S. firm Alliant Techsystems to
develop the semi-active laser-guided GATR for the U.S. Army.
