PKK SAID TO BE WORKING WITH TURKISH POLS

ANKARA [MENL] -- Kurdish insurgents were said to have been in contact withTurkish secular politicians and military officers in an effort to renewunrest near the Iraqi border. Iraqi Kurdish sources said Kurdish Workers Party chief Abdullah Ocalanhas been encouraged by so-called Turkish circles to revive the PKKinsurgency in southeastern Turkey. The sources said the two sides wereseeking to undermine the pro-Islamic government of Turkish Prime MinisterAbdullah Erdogan.
