Moroccan Deemed No. 2 In AQI
BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has deemed a Moroccan native as the late
No. 2 in the Al Qaida network in Iraq.
The military said the Moroccan was killed in a U.S.-led coalition
operation in Mosul on Oct. 5. The Moroccan was identified as Abu Qaswarah,
also known as Abu Sara, the senior Al Qaida network commander in northern
Iraq.
