Libya Prepares For Arms Deal With Russia

MOSCOW [MENL] -- Libya plans to conclude major weapons deals with Russia.
Russian industry sources said Moscow and Tripoli have reached an
understanding on a major arms deal in 2009. The sources said Libya has
agreed in principle to the purchase of advanced fighter-jets main battle
tanks and air defense systems, including the S-300PMU2.
