ISRAEL'S ARMY UPGRADES APC FLEET

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- An Israeli defense contractor has been selected toupgrade the army's fleet of U.S.-origin armored personnel carrier. The Defense Ministry has awarded an unspecified contract to AOBTechnologies to upgrade the M113 fleet of the Israel Defense Forces. Underthe contract, AOB, located in Netanya, Israel, would install new protectionsystems in the M113 APC.
