ISRAEL LAUNCHES DIGITAL ARMY PROGRAM

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's military has launched a C4I program to link itsservices. Israel's Defense Ministry has awarded Elbit Systems a $200 millioncontract for the first phase of the Digital Army Program. Under thecontract, Elbit Systems would be the prime contractor and integrator of thecommand, control, communications, computer and intelligence [C4I] system forthe Ground Forces Command.
