Kuwait Fails To Sign Refinery Contracts
ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has failed to sign contracts awarded for the
sheikdom's new oil refinery.
Kuwaiti Oil Minister Mohammed Al Olaim said questions by parliament have
blocked the signing of contracts to construct a 615,000 barrel per day
refinery at Al Zour. Al Olaim said five foreign companies have been awarded
contracts in the $15 billion project.
