Israeli Military Accepts U.S. Firm Recommendations
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel has accepted the recommendations of a U.S.
consultant for the streamlining of the military.
The Defense Ministry and the military have agreed to adopt the
recommendations of McKinsey and Co. to save about $500 million. The
recommendations were part of a multi-year reorganization and efficiency plan
that dealt with acquisition, construction and air and land maintenance.
