BAGHDAD [MENL] -- Iraq has been considering significant changes in its
security infrastructure.
Officials said the changes could include the restructuring or even
dismantling of the Baghdad security command. The command, established in
2007 and under the direct control of Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki, has
been blamed for failing to block a spate of mass-casualty suicide bombing
attacks over the last three months.
