Israeli Firm Plans UAV Production

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- An Israeli defense major plans to begin serial production
of a new long-range unmanned aerial vehicle.
Elbit Systems intends to launch serial production of the Hermes-900 UAV.
Executives said Hermes-900 has completed a successful maiden test flight and
would undergo several other flights before production.
