Jordan Expands Presence In Afghanistan

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Jordan plans to expand its military presence in
Afghanistan.
Officials said Jordan has agreed to a U.S. request to expand the
kingdom's military and security presence in Afghanistan. They said the
Jordanian role in the NATO stabilization mission would not be combat, rather
focus on support and intelligence.
