PA Purges Hamas Members In Security Forces

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- The Palestinian Authority has launched a purge of Hamas
supporters in the security forces.
PA sources said about 1,000 officers suspected of being aligned with
Hamas have been dismissed over the last year. They said most of the officers
were fired by Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in 2008.
