JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel's intelligence community expects relations with
Turkey to worsen in 2010.
Officials said the intelligence community has concluded that Turkey
would bolster strategic relations with Syria at the expense of Ankara's
longtime alliance with Israel. They said the government of Turkish Prime
Minister Recep Erdogan has also won the military's agreement to reduce
defense cooperation with the Jewish state.
