UAE Urged To Improve Defense Planning

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates must improve military and
defense planning to enhance capabilities in intelligence, surveillance and
reconnaissance, a report said.
The Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis asserted that the
UAE military must restructure its forces and revise methods to exploit
newly-acquired advanced Western technology. Authored by former UAE Air Force
commander [Ret.] Gen. Khaled Al Bu Ainnain, the institute report said the
UAE needs to rapidly develop ISR capabilities to foil any regional attack.
