Western Major Opens Air Center In Libya

LONDON [MENL] -- A Western defense major has opened a helicopter production
facility in Libya.
Italy's AgustaWestland has launched a helicopter production plant south
of the Libyan capital of Tripoli. The facility at Abu Aisha airport, opened
on April 28, would be operated by AgustaWestland's joint venture,
Libyan-Italian Advanced Technology Co., and assemble single- and twin-engine
helicopters.
