Tension With PA Reported In W. Bank City

RAMALLAH [MENL] -- Tension has been rising in a major West Bank city
dominated by the opposition Hamas movement.
Palestinian sources reported tension between the Palestinian Authority
and residents of the West Bank city of Hebron. The sources said residents
were increasingly angry over a PA anti-crime crackdown that they said was
arbitrary and lethal.
