Israel Wins Aircraft Project In Brazil

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- A leading Israeli defense firm has won a military
aircraft project in Brazil.
Elbit Systems has won an estimated $187 million project to help upgrade
the AMX combat aircraft for the Brazilian Air Force. Under the contract,
Elbit Systems would provide avionics for the Brazilian-Italian aircraft in a
modernization project headed by Embraer.
