Iraq Navy Increases Patrols

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The Iraq Navy has significantly increased its role in the
northern Gulf.
Officials said the Iraq Navy has increased by three-fold the number of
patrols in 2008. They said the navy has also expanded search-and-boarding
missions and captured high-speed boats and other vessels.
