Obama Demands Israel To Extend Freeze

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States intends to press Israel to continue
its freeze on Jewish construction in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Officials said President Barack Obama plans to urge Prime Minister
Binyamin Netanyahu to extend the 10-month freeze on Jewish construction in
Jerusalem and the West Bank. They said the president, during the July 6
summit, would stress that the continuation of the freeze would facilitate
Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts.
