Iraq Prepares Air Force Infrastructure
BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The Iraq Air Force, bracing for rapid expansion, has been
enhancing its infrastructure.
The air force has been assisted by the U.S. military in the construction
of facilities to accommodate both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft over the
next five years. Some of the projects, led by the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, were scheduled for completion by the time U.S. forces leave Iraq
in late 2011.
