Turkey Hosts New Aircraft Facility

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has hosted a new Western aerospace facility.
Turkey has hosted a new wiring facility in Izmir by the Dutch company,
Fokker Elmo. Fokker, a division of Stork Aerospace, has been contracted to
manufacture aircraft and aircraft engine wiring systems for Boeing,
Airbus, Lockheed Martin and AgustaWestland.
"We now look forward to apply our proven business model to our Turkish
facility," Fokker managing director Jan Lagasse said. "We are confident that
with the expanded global footprint and the use of our unique wiring design
and manufacturing system we will be able to even serve our aerospace and
defense customers even better."
