U.S. Reports Dismantling Of AQI Cells
BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has reported the dismantling of numerous
Al Qaida cells.
The military said Al Qaida cells were broken up throughout Iraq in
November 2008. Officials said the cells operated in the provinces of
Diyala and Nineveh.
"Coalition operations further dismantled Al Qaida in Iraq's terrorist
leadership and bombing networks throughout Iraq," the military statement
said.
