IAI Reports Increased Sales

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's largest defense contractor has reported
increased sales in 2008.
The state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries reported a 10 percent
increase in sales for the third quarter of this year. IAI said sales third
quarter sales reached $877 million.
"Despite the slowdown in the international civil aviation market and the
difficulties still ahead, IAI will continue to strengthen its position among
existing customers, while exploring new businesses and opportunities," IAI
chairman Yair Shamir said.
