AQI Exposes Iraqi Vulnerability
BAGHDAD [MENL] -- Al Qaida, exploiting the departure of U.S. combat troops,
has launched one of its biggest attacks ever on Iraqi security forces.
In a series of coordinated attacks, the Al Qaida network struck dozens
of targets around Iraq on Aug. 25. At least 75 people were killed in what
officials acknowledged was one of the largest operations against Iraq's
military and security forces since the U.S. invasion of the country in 2003.
