JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel's High Court has been accused of protecting the
Hamas movement, declared a terrorist group by the Jewish state.
A prominent judicial group has asserted that Israel's High Court of
Justice was maintaining a double standard in its treatment of Hamas and
Jewish criminal suspects. The Israel Law Center said the Israeli court was
protecting Hamas leaders from expulsion orders while rapidly endorsing
international requests for the extradition of Jewish suspects.
