France Rules Out More Israeli UAVs

LONDON [MENL] -- France has ruled out the prospect of additional
purchases of Israeli-origin unmanned aerial vehicles.
A study by the Defense Ministry has determined an immediate requirement
for up to 75 medium-altitude, long-endurance UAVs for deployment in
Afghanistan. But the ministry has assessed that Israeli UAVs were too
expensive for the defense budget.
