Sudan Prepares Massive Buildup

CAIRO [MENL] -- Sudan was said to be conducting a massive military buildup
in preparation for another war with the south.
The southern government said the Sudanese Army was planning an invasion
of the south ahead of a planned referendum on independence in January 2011.
Officials said the United Nations peace-keeping mission in Sudan, with
10,000 officers, has failed to monitor or report the buildup of the northern
army.
