GCC Unhappy With U.S. Pullout

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The Gulf Cooperation Council has assessed that the U.S.
withdrawal from Iraq could destabilize the region.
GCC sources said all six members of the council have concluded that the
pullout of American combat troops from Iraq would intensify attacks by Al
Qaida as well as intervention by Iran. They said the administration of
President Barack Obama was warned by several GCC members to delay the withdrawal.
