Kurds Seen As Top Opponent Of Iran
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Kurdish insurgency has been deemed the leading
opponent of the Iranian regime.
The Free Life Party of Iranian Kurdistan, or PJAK, was reported to
have become the most effective opposition to Iran. Analysts said PJAK, a
wing of the Kurdish Workers Party, has killed scores of officers from Iran's
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and could serve as a linchpin to any
Western effort to destabilize the Teheran regime.
