Saudi Behind Parcel Bombs
ABU DHABI [MENL] -- A Saudi bombmaker has been identified as the mastermind
of Al Qaida's latest campaign against the United States.
Officials said a Saudi veteran of the Al Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula
network has been designing miniature bombs meant to down U.S. cargo and
passenger jets. They said Ibrahim Al Asiri was believed to have assembled
the parcel bombs sent from Yemen to the United States in October 2010.
