Congress Worried Over Saudi Aid To Lebanon

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Congress has expressed concern over Saudi funding to
the pro-U.S. government in Lebanon.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has determined that Riyad was
relaying at least hundreds of millions of dollars to those aligned with
Prime Minister Saad Hariri. The committee said the Saudi funding could
conceal Lebanese military and government activity from the United States, a
leading aid provider.
