Turkey Wants Discount On BMD

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has sought a significant discount on Western
ballistic missile defense systems.
Officials said the government of Prime Minister Recep Erdogan has been
relaying proposals to link Turkey's multi-billion-dollar missile defense
program with that of NATO. They said the Defense Ministry was prepared to
consider any of its Western bids that would offer Turkey a significant
discount on BMD systems.
