U.S. Uses Israeli Missile In UAV Tests
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Navy has been employing an Israeli-origin
missile for tests of converted unmanned aerial vehicles.
Officials said the navy has been using an Israeli anti-tank guided
weapon for the conversion of reconnaissance UAVs into combat platforms. They
identified the Israeli weapon as the Spike missile, produced by Israel's
state-owned Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.
