Iraq Navy Deploys U.S. Vessels

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The Iraq Navy has begun deploying a U.S.-origin patrol
vessel.
The navy has taken delivery of the first Defender-class fast attack
boats. The navy has been deploying six Defender aluminum-hull vessels out of
26 ordered from the United States.
"They have already made a difference in patrol missions," an official
said.
