Bahrain Parliament Wants Oversight

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Bahrain's parliament has demanded oversight over
the rising defense budget.
Opposition parliamentarians have called on the Sunni-led government to
maintain control over the defense and security budget. The Shi'ite
parliamentarians said they sought guarantees for the Defense Ministry pledge
not to surpass its budget over the next two years.
