Turkey Cancels 2 Exercises

ANKARA [MENL] -- For the first time, Turkey's military has cut short major
military exercises.
The General Staff has reported the cancellation of the final stages of
two military exercises in May 2011. Both annual exercises took place near
Greece but were cut short by the General Staff amid rising tension with the
government of Prime Minister Recep Erdogan.
