LONDON [MENL] -- France has decided to seek an Israeli-origin unmanned
aerial vehicle.
The French Defense Ministry said it would begin negotiations for the
procurement of an advanced variant of Israel's Heron UAV. The ministry said
the July 20 decision called for Heron to replace the Harfang, UAV, also
based on Heron, a platform developed by Israel Aerospace Industries.
