Al Qaida Makes Debut In Sinai

CAIRO [MENL] -- Al Qaida's latest franchise has made its debut in Egypt's
Sinai Peninsula.
Officials said Egypt has captured an Al Qaida field commander in Sinai
who provided information on the new insurgency network. They said the
commander, identified as Ramzi Muwafi, organized a force of hundreds of Al
Qaida fighters, some of whom were used to attack southern Israel in August
2011.
