U.S. Dismisses Saudi Aerospace Industry

LONDON [MENL] -- The United States has dismissed Saudi Arabia's aerospace
industry.
A State Department cable asserted that conditions at the Saudi aerospace
industry were deplorable. The 2006 cable by the U.S. consulate in Jedda said
the Saudi kingdom would not succeed in plans to privatize what was deemed an
overstaffed sector.
