UAE Warns France On Rafale
DUBAI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has warned France to significantly
improve its bid for a fighter-jet to the Gulf Cooperation Council state.
UAE deputy supreme commander Gen. Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan warned
that France's Rafale fighter-jet was not competitive with other bids in the
estimated $10 billion military project. Mohammed, responsible for defense
and security strategy, said the problem stemmed with Rafale's producer,
Dassault Aviation.
