Saudis Urged To Upgrade Navy

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The Saudi leadership has been urged to modernize its
navy amid the growing threat from neighboring Iran.
Officials said the Saudi royal family has been studying requests for a
massive upgrade of the navy. They said the family, particularly the
new defense minister, Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, was briefed on naval
threats to the kingdom from Iran.
