WASHINGTON [MENL] -- A U.S. federal district court has determined that Iran
helped Al Qaida in operations against the United States.
A federal district court in Washington D.C. ruled that Iran worked with
Al Qaida to bomb the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998. Judge
John Bates said Iran worked with Sudan in the multiple bombings in Africa
in which more than 200 people were killed.
