HERZLIYA, Israel [MENL] -- Israel's intelligence community has determined
that international sanctions failed to deter Iran's drive toward nuclear
weapons.
Officials said the intelligence community has assessed that Iran was
building a sufficient uranium stockpile to assemble several nuclear weapons.
They said sanctions by the United Nations and the United States have not
hampered Iran's strategic programs.
