AQI Believed To Operate In Syria

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Al Qaida's network in Iraq was believed to have sent
scores of fighters as well as suicide bombers to Syria.
Diplomatic sources said AQI has decided to intensify deployment in
neighboring Syria. They said the Islamic network was sending bomb experts,
including suicide operatives, to stage mass-casualty attacks against the
regime of President Bashar Assad.
