Italian Firm Equips UAE Corvettes

LONDON [MENL] -- An Italian defense major has installed advanced combat
management systems on the new corvettes acquired by the United Arab Emirates
Navy.
Selex Sistemi Integrati has been deemed a major subcontractor in the UAE
Navy's Al Baynounah project. Selex has developed and installed combat
management as well as fire control systems on the French-designed corvettes
ordered by Abu Dhabi.
