EU Targets GCC Defense Market

LONDON [MENL] -- The European Union, despite growing unrest, has sought
to become leading suppliers to Arab states.
Official data said the EU was selling billions of euro worth of weapons
and subsystems to militaries in the Arab world. They said the biggest
clients were the six-member Gulf Cooperation Council, particularly Saudi
Arabia.
