Bahrain Expands Ship-Building Sector

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Bahrain has sought to expand its shipbuilding industry.
Government sources said the Gulf Cooperation Council kingdom was
launching efforts to develop the infrastructure of a shipbuilding industry
for both the civilian and military sectors. They said the program has begun
with training of Bahrainis with mechanical and electrical skills required
for ship repair and assembly.
